Morning at leisure. Prior to embarkation, enjoy a highlight tour of Papeete en route to the ship.
Day 3 Bora Bora
Bora Bora
Snorkelers will be entranced by an underwater safari. You’ll also have an opportunity to do some shopping in Vaitape. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 4 Maupiti
In the three hours it takes to walk around the island of Maupiti, you’ll see endemic bird species, beaches, and ancient marae sites. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 5 At Sea
Day 6 Atiu, Cook Islands
Conch shell trumpets announce your arrival at this secluded and beautiful island. Birders may choose to seek out the rare Kakeroris (Rarotongan flycatcher). (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 7 Aitutaki
Take a motu cruise with local guides and learn about Aitutaki’s living coral gardens or explore its history with a circle island tour. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 8 Rarotonga
On this lushly vegetated island, we venture forth to visit the Museum of the Cook Islands, and several small communities.
Day 9 Palmerston
Your local guides will escort you through the small village and show you where the best snorkeling sites are found. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 10 At Sea
Day 11 Niue Island
Tour Alofi village and explore Niue’s netherworld of caves. Snorkelers will be amazed by the abundance of fish. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 12 Cross International Dateline
In the blink of an eye, we lose a calendar day today.
Day 13 Vava'u, Tonga
Visit a village or take a locally guided snorkeling excursion and explore underwater caves. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 14 Fulaga, Lau Group, Fiji
Encounter a traditional village. Fulaga is famous for its fine woodcarvers and large outrigger canoes. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 15 Matuku, Laus
Matuku is noted for its lush rainforests and traditional life. We’ll visit a small village and enjoy the local hospitality. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 16 Beqa Island / Suva
Watch in disbelief as Sawau tribesmen walk over hot stones reaching 1200 degrees Fahrenheit at a fire-walking ceremony. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 17 Lautoka
Disembark or continue your journey with the next voyage on December 3, 2010.
Deposit & Payment
Initial deposit is 25% for Grand or Owners Suites, 20% for all other cabin types, and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Alternatively, you can send a check to our Missoula, Montana, office or register online at: http://www.alvoyages.com/four-ways/
Final payment is due 130 days prior to departure, and most travelers will pay the final balance with a check, money order, or bank transfer. You can also pay the final balance by credit card, but please note there is a 3% convenience fee assessed to all credit card-not-present final payments.

One of our most spacious and luxurious ocean going vessels. Equipped with stabilizers, the Spirit of Oceanus opens up whole new horizons for our style of up-close, casual small-ship cruising. In Alaska, that means the Gulf of Alaska and the remote vastness of the Aleutian Islands and the Bering Sea.
Our flagship hosts just 120 guests in comfortable outside suites, each with a picture window or porthole. The 15 suites on the Sun and Sports Decks feature private teak balconies, the first in our fleet. Other cabin amenities unique to the Spirit of Oceanus include a walk-in closet or wardrobe, a large marble bathroom, and a lounge area. Each suite also features an in-room safe and satellite telephone access. Other features:
