The flexibility of the crew to deal with the expectations of all the passengers was great. Ad hoc events organised on board were very entertaining. It was excellent - trip of a lifetime.

I would highly recommend visiting Antarctica on the Ioffe. The captain had a 24 hour open bridge policy which made for some great pics and interesting conversation. The staff members were very knowledgeable and they covered their lecture topics with enthusiasm and humor. The staff and crew on the ship were all wonderful. They were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history, wildlife and environment of Antarctica. They always had a plan B, C, or D thought out if weather prevented us from doing something.
