When the temperatures begin to dip in New England, snowbirds invariably head south, and Arabella is no exception. Our Caribbean Sailing Schedule shows Arabella sailing the balmy aquamarine waters of the Caribbean. How better to get in touch with your free-spirited self than by island hopping in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands?

Day 1 : Redhook/Embark (D)

Board in the charming Caribbean village of Red Hook-only 30 minutes from St. Thomas Airport. Once aboard we have a welcome reception before we pull anchor for a short hop across Pillsbury Sound to St. John and the turquoise waters of Caneel Bay. We go ashore to dine at one of the Caribbean's premier resort restaurants, The Equator at Sugar Mill.

Day 2 : Sandy Cay/Soper's Hole (B,L,D)

Good morning! We start the day sailing northeast toward Jost van Dyke to Great Harbor. We will clear customs in the morning while guests swim and refresh in the warm waters. We then sail on to Sandy Cay on the East end of Jost for lunch aboard. After lunch, guests seek the perfect spot for a snorkel and a walk on the white sands. The sail for the afternoon will be at the Captain's discretion to Cane Garden Bay or exploring the Northern side of Tortola… the winds will decide. We finish the day sailing into Soper's Hole - please don't miss a visit to Pusser's! Dinner is ashore with your shipmates and crew at the Ocean's Seven Beach Club.

Day 3 : Peter Island/Great Bay (B,L,D)

We start the morning relaxing at anchor while Island tours and excursions are taken of the West End of Tortola and shopping in Road Town. After returning to the boat for lunch, we set sail for Peter Island. Views of the unspoiled parks on St. John to the West make for a wonderful journey. We arrive in Great Bay with Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails for the sunset, then dinner ashore with your shipmates and crew.

Day 4 : Virgin Gorda/Sir Francis Drake Chanel (B,L,D)

Sailing up to Virgin Gorda and through the Sir Francis Drake Chanel is some of the most picturesque sailing you can do. With the gem cays of Tortola on your left and the Dog, Salt and Ginger islands on your right, each direction offers a view to cherish. We arrive in Spanish Town where a delicious lunch is packed for you then off to The Bath's! Exotic pools and caves are formed with natural boulders… the water movement and acoustics giving you a sense of what it would be to live in Atlantis! Dinner is ashore in Spanish Town with your shipmates and crew.

Day 5 : Caves of Norman Island (B,L,D)

This morning's sail is a comfortable reaching sail down the Sir Francis Drake Chanel and to The Caves of Norman Island for our snorkeling adventure (snorkeling gear is provided-or you are welcome to bring your own). The Caves are famous for their spectacular rock formations and crystal clear water…but if you are good, the crew may also share a snorkel secret…the Indians. We'll launch our kayaks for those who wish to explore on the surface of the water. Dinner will be at Pirate's Bight on us. After dinner, the more adventurous can take the launch to the “William T. Thornton”, a floating nightspot/pirate ship of much ill-repute.

Day 6 : St. Johns Cruz Bay (B,L)

In the morning, from The Bight of Norman Island we again sail a lovely south west reach to St. John's Cruz Bay. With St. John on our right, we pass Ram Head, Fish Bay and Chocolate Hole. We then clear customs and are on US soil. After lunch we go ashore to explore the wonders of this island that is 2/3rds National Park. Jeep rentals, safari bus rides and nature hikes as well as variety of guided tours are readily available for you. A tender or cab ride are only moments away from some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet to polish your golden glow. After Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, you will be on your own for dinner in Cruz Bay.

Day 7 : St. Thomas / Disembark (B)

It is such a short trip back to St. Thomas but there is plenty of time to exchange addresses with all of your new friends and shipmates. After a farewell breakfast, we drop the hook in Red Hook, at the eastern end of St. Thomas where you can enjoy the final moments savoring your Arabella experience….for memories out of the ordinary.
