Day 1 : Embark at Newport
Board Arabella in the historic harbor of downtown Newport in the afternoon. Settle into your cabin and then freshen up and prepare for a welcoming Smuggler's Cocktail Cruise aboard the 1929 Elco Prohibition Era Motor yacht, the Rum Runner II, followed by dinner at your choice of Newport's more than fifty wonderful restaurants. Don't miss Newport's wonderful mansions from the Gilded Age, its world famous Cliff Walk and the largest number of original Colonial buildings in the country.
Day 2 : Cruise North to Rhode Island
After breakfast, sail North up Narragansett Bay past historic Rose Island Lighthouse and the famed Naval War College. We arrive in Bristol, RI in time for lunch and to explore the Herrshoff Museum as well as one of a kind boutiques and the new harbor walk. Some very well received and nationally recognized restaurants are nestled right on the Bristol harbor.
Day 3 : Sail South
Sailing south down Narragansett Bay past Prudence Island in a course for Newport. Captain's discretion as you make sail to where the wind takes you! Don't miss Newport's wonderful mansions from the Gilded Age, its world famous Cliff Walk and the largest number of original Colonial buildings in the country. The Chef and crew will serve a wonderful grilled picnic dinner- in New England tradition- aboard and then it is your turn to relax under the stars, and toast the beauty on the water.
Day 4 : Disembark
Awaken to the sun over historic Fort Adams and enjoy a farewell breakfast with the Captain and crew, exchanging information with your shipmates before disembarking from a refreshing and special weekend.
