Day 3 : Trapani, Sicily

Not far from Trapani is our charming destination - Erice. Mighty walls still encircle the town and preserve the timeless tranquility. The colorful history of this former wealthy medieval settlement, lies as far back as ancient times.

Day 4 : Cagliari, Sardinia

On an independent land tour, you will quickly reach the most beautiful section of the capital, which is older than Rome. Most of the sites lay in the old city beginning at the harbor.

Day 5 : Alghero, Sardinia (Excursion to Sella Et Mosca Vineyards)

Our travels take us to the wonderfully traditional vineyard of Sella Et Mosca, which has been producing fine wines since 1899. If you wish, you can visit the wine museum as well. At a wine tasting, both reds and whites will be on hand.

Day 6 : At Sea

Few people get to experience the luxury of this storied yacht. Relax and enjoy her beauty.

Day 7 : Mahon, Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain (Island tour)

Declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, Menorca is mainly an undeveloped island. On our island tour, we will see its vast plains with sand beaches and its rugged northern shore.

The Sea Cloud is a glorious and gracious sailing yacht, a four-masted bark, custom built in 1931 by the business magnate E.F. Hutton for his wife the heiress, Marjorie Merriweather Post.

Her sleek, snow-white hull elegantly curves from stem to stern and her masts stretch high into the sky. The ship’s decks offer the grandeur of rich mahogany, teak and gleaming brass and the magnificent golden eagle figurehead seems poised to fly across the waters.

The opulence continues in the public areas and original cabins with antique furnishings, elegant fireplaces and bathrooms of Carrara marble with golden fixtures. The newer cabins also offer a high degree of comfort and luxury with rosewood and brass décor, marble baths and large windows. Personal service and fine amenities are the hallmarks of a Sea Cloud cruise and guests are pampered with deluxe linens and bathrobes, complimentary fruit in their cabins and complimentary fine wines served with lunch and dinner.

A nostalgic romanticism permeates the Sea Cloud evoking the glories of the Golden Age of Travel. Music from the ships own Steinway upright piano wafts from the elegant dining room where you enjoy fine international cuisine.
