Day 1 : Embark Mallorca, Spain

Embark on the Sea Cloud.

Day 2 : Ibiza, Spain

The third largest Balearic Island is known for its cheerful atmosphere and vitality. On its rugged, picturesque coasts, deserted beaches are to be found, many of them in the shadows of defensive towers from bygone ages. On our tour across the island, you will see one very unique feature: There are hardly any villages but many hamlets and lonely fincas.

Day 3 : Valencia, Spain

On our city tour, we will visit not just the architectural sights of yesterday and today, but also a very special park: over 20 years ago the splendid green lung of the city was created in a dried-up riverbed.

Day 4 : At Sea

Day 5 : Motril, Spain (*Excursion to Granada and Alhambra)

Our overland excursion takes us through the Andalusian hinterland all the way to Granada. The highlight of this city where Charles V once wanted to move his government is the Alhambra, the famous city fortress from the age of the Moors. The Alhambra is one of the most beautiful Arab gardens and palaces and it is protected by UNESCO.

Day 6 : Tangiers, Morocco (Jeep safari)

When the cosmopolitan Tangiers became a part of Morocco in 1956, the city became a Mecca for international writers. Among them were Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams. On our jeep safari, we will head into the North African hinterland and along the coast.

Day 7 : At Sea

The last day onboard belongs to the wind and sea.

Day 8 : Casablanca, Morocco

NOTE: Shore excursions are not included but can be arranged separately.

Prices are based on a 3% cash discount.

Previous Image   Next Image Sea Cloud Ship

The Sea Cloud is a glorious and gracious sailing yacht, a four-masted bark, custom built in 1931 by the business magnate E.F. Hutton for his wife the heiress, Marjorie Merriweather Post.

Her sleek, snow-white hull elegantly curves from stem to stern and her masts stretch high into the sky. The ship’s decks offer the grandeur of rich mahogany, teak and gleaming brass and the magnificent golden eagle figurehead seems poised to fly across the waters.

The opulence continues in the public areas and original cabins with antique furnishings, elegant fireplaces and bathrooms of Carrara marble with golden fixtures. The newer cabins also offer a high degree of comfort and luxury with rosewood and brass décor, marble baths and large windows. Personal service and fine amenities are the hallmarks of a Sea Cloud cruise and guests are pampered with deluxe linens and bathrobes, complimentary fruit in their cabins and complimentary fine wines served with lunch and dinner.

A nostalgic romanticism permeates the Sea Cloud evoking the glories of the Golden Age of Travel. Music from the ships own Steinway upright piano wafts from the elegant dining room where you enjoy fine international cuisine. Other shipboard facilities include a well-stocked boutique, a cozy library and the delightful bar on the Lido Deck where you can relax or sunbathe in comfortable deck chairs.
