Day 1 : Arrive Curacao / Embark
Arrive in Willemstad, Curacao, and embark ship. Late evening departure for Aruba.
Day 2 : Oranjestad, Aruba
The smallest of the Dutch ABC islands has both characteristic Caribbean dream beaches and unusual landscapes: jagged limestone coasts on which the waves break, strange cliff formations and stalagmite caves.
Day 3 : At Sea
While others are in the middle of the final Christmas rush, you\'ll be discovering real peace and quiet.
Day 4 : Santa Marta, Colombia
Snow-covered peaks and tropical sand beaches on Santa Marta are the extremes of nature that lie right next to each other and can be discovered on our tour.
Day 5 : At Sea
A blue sky, a blue sea, a legendary sail boat -- it\'s not only for romantics!
Day 6 : San Blas Archipel, Panama
The island archipelago on the coast of Panama still belongs to the Cuna Indians, one of the original inhabitants of Central America. We will visit Cuna National Park. Isla El Porvenir is our intended anchorage.
Day 7 : At Sea
Simply incredible: even if you\'ve seen all kinds of different sailing maneuvers, the movement of a ship never loses its fascination.
Day 8 : Puerto Limon, Costa Rica / Disembark / Return Home
Disembark after breakfast in Puerto Limon, and transfer to the airport for flights home.
NOTE: Shore excursions are not included but can be arranged separately.
Prices are based on a 3% cash discount.
Ship Description: Sea Cloud
The Sea Cloud is a glorious and gracious sailing yacht, a four-masted bark, custom built in 1931 by the business magnate E.F. Hutton for his wife the heiress, Marjorie Merriweather Post.
Her sleek, snow-white hull elegantly curves from stem to stern and her masts stretch high into the sky. The ship’s decks offer the grandeur of rich mahogany, teak and gleaming brass and the magnificent golden eagle figurehead seems poised to fly across the waters.
The opulence continues in the public areas and original cabins with antique furnishings, elegant fireplaces and bathrooms of Carrara marble with golden fixtures. The newer cabins also offer a high degree of comfort and luxury with rosewood and brass décor, marble baths and large windows. Personal service and fine amenities are the hallmarks of a Sea Cloud cruise and guests are pampered with deluxe linens and bathrobes, complimentary fruit in their cabins and complimentary fine wines served with lunch and dinner.
A nostalgic romanticism permeates the Sea Cloud evoking the glories of the Golden Age of Travel. Music from the ships own Steinway upright piano wafts from the elegant dining room where you enjoy fine international cuisine. Other shipboard facilities include a well-stocked boutique, a cozy library and the delightful bar on the Lido Deck where you can relax or sunbathe in comfortable deck chairs.
