Your journey includes Stornoway, with a stone circle dating back 2,500 years and Kirkwall, in the Orkney Islands, a birder’s paradise. You’ll explore spectacular fjords; Bodo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site just above the Arctic Circle; and Bergen, with its charming, carved wooden buildings, as you make your way to Oslo.

Arrive in Paris, France, gateway to Honfleur, and check into your included hotel.
Day 2 : Transfer to Honfleur, France
Embark and set sail for the British Isles and Scandinavia.
Day 3 : At Sea
Day 4 : Wicklow, Ireland
Here in lush, green Ireland, you’ll visit the elegant 18th-century gardens of Powerscourt Estate and the monastic ruins of Glendalough.
Day 5 : Portrush, N. Ireland
Visit the Giant’s Causeway — 40,000 black basalt columns pointing out of the sea — formed over 50 million years ago.
Day 6 : Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides
Stornoway, a busy fishing town, is the site of its own Stonehenge, a stone circle dating back some 2500 years.
Day 7 : Kirkwall, Orkney Islands
Get out your binoculars and look for corncrakes, red-throated divers, hen harriers, merlins, peregrine falcons, whimbrels, kittiwakes, and razorbills.
Day 8 : At Sea
Day 9 : Bodo, Norway
We’ll get a traditional Norwegian welcome in Bodo and a chance to visit Saltstraumen — whirlpools up to 30 feet across and 15 feet deep.
Day 10 : Svolvaer, Lofoten Islands
A quiet little village with three interesting museums, the most impressive of which is the Kåre Espolin Johnson Gallery. Weather permitting, take a Zodiac excursion in search of Orca whales. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 11 : Tromso
Tromso has the highest number of wooden homes in northern Norway, with many dating back to 1789.
Day 12 : Honningsvag / North Cape
Today you’ll experience the Midnight Sun. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 13 : At Sea
Day 14 : Holandsfjord
Enjoy spectacular scenery as your ship weaves its way into a breathtaking fjord where you’ll see wildlife and waterfalls and the spectacular Svartisen glacier. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 15 : Trondheim
Founded in A.D. 997 by Viking King Olav, Trondheim is home to the Nidaros Cathedral, one of the most important in Scandinavia. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 16 : Molde / Alesund
Village life continues unchanged in Molde. Romsdalen, boasts an outdoor museum with 40 houses from the 14th to the 20th century.
Day 17 : Geiranger Fjord / Geiranger
Our nimble ship sails today along the magnificent Geiranger Fjord, a picture-perfect setting for sightseeing and hiking. (Zodiac landing or touring)
Day 18 : Bergen, Norway
Bergen, home of composer Edvard Grieg, is one of Norway’s most charming cities with cobblestone streets, markets and museums.

Ship Description: Spirit of Oceanus
One of our most spacious and luxurious ocean going vessels. Equipped with stabilizers, the Spirit of Oceanus opens up whole new horizons for our style of up-close, casual small-ship cruising. In Alaska, that means the Gulf of Alaska and the remote vastness of the Aleutian Islands and the Bering Sea.
Our flagship hosts just 120 guests in comfortable outside suites, each with a picture window or porthole. The 15 suites on the Sun and Sports Decks feature private teak balconies, the first in our fleet. Other cabin amenities unique to the Spirit of Oceanus include a walk-in closet or wardrobe, a large marble bathroom, and a lounge area. Each suite also features an in-room safe and satellite telephone access. Other features:

Majestic 231 sq. ft with porth(Suites 252-262, 329) These 240 square foot suites are located on the Main Deck and Oceanus Deck. They feature a minimum of 2 portholes and full-length wardrobes. Twin or king beds. Suite 329 on the Oceanus Deck has a picture window. |

Premium (Cabins 414-428) These suites are located on the Club Deck and feature a walk-in closet and a large picture window opening onto an outside walkway. They average 235 square feet in size. |
